Isaac Friesen - Director of Teams, Pitching Coordinator

Isaac has spent his entire life either on or in close proximity to a baseball diamond. However those fields have rarely been close to home. Growing up and playing his prep career near Boulder, Colorado, his summer teams traveled across the USA as they sought to play the best competition.

Upon finishing high school with All-State honors, Isaac pursued the opportunity to play college baseball in Oklahoma. He was drawn to play for legendary coach Lloyd “Zero” Simmons at Seminole State College because of Z’s reputation for developing players to be their best on the field and to develop as men off the field. He was honored to become an Academic All-American at Seminole. The summer after his sophomore year he earned 1st Team Golden State Collegiate Summer League honors while pitching for the Alameda Merchants near Oakland, California. Isaac went on to play for the University of Hawaii where he majored in Economics. He is currently the pitching coordinator at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach.
